Wall Switch Control
All of our suppliers provide some sort of wall switch for ease of use. Who hasn’t had the problem of finding the elusive remote control or their phone/tablet and a wall switch gives you the convenience of immediate control.
What type of wall switch should I install?
In general, mains powered blinds have mains powered switches and these, in general, are installed at the build or renovation stage of a project. When installing battery operated or rechargeable blinds the wall switch also works off batteries ensuring no mains power is needed. In some cases rather than a dedicated wall switch the remotes are magnetic and simply magnetise to a wall mounted backing plate.
What functionality can a wall switch have?
Wall switches can be very simple allowing you to operate the simple functionality of blinds such as open, close or favourite position. The more advanced allow you to set timer control or scenes that mean the blind reacts to certain prompts such as sunrise or sunset for example.
