Motorised External Blinds
If solar gain is a real issue and you are struggling to control the temperatures in your home then adding external blinds, if possible, is the solution. When the solar rays make contact with the glass they will transfer heat and cause your internal temperatures to rise.
We now also offer external venetian blinds and our screen fabrics can cover openings up to 7m wide with a single blind.
Where can external blinds be used?
Our external blinds are very versatile and can cover a variety of different glazing sizes and inclinations; windows, sliding and folding patio doors, rooflights , skylights, conservatories as well as pergolas and verandas.

What sensors are available?
It is possible to add heat sensors to work in conjunction with your blinds depending on the manufacturer you choose. These heat and light sensors will deploy the blinds when the room hits a pre-set temperature.
You can also add wind and rain sensor technology which will retract the external blinds should wind levels hit a pre-determined level.
